We were thinking of having our DS go to Simba's club or Neverland Club a few nights of our vacation but just realized that he will be 3 weeks shy of being 4.Will they ask anything to prove his age or make an exeption because he will be so close to 4?I really think he will enjoy it and it would be nice to have a little time to ourselves-even for just an hour!

I think they're pretty lenient. They mostly want to make sure that the children are potty trained.

Same situation in August...our son was 3 weeks away from his 4th b-day. We asked at the Sandcastle Club and they said sorry, he had to be 4.

Our son was two weeks from his birthday in Jan. At first when I called dining to ask she thought it would be ok but then she asked someone else and they said no. I think it has to do with licensing.

It does have to do with licensing, not by Disney, but the state of Florida. If they bend the rules and the licensing people happen to stop by for an inspection (yes they can stop by unannouced), Disney could loose it's licensing to have kid's clubs in all of the resorts, not just the one in question. It just isn't worth it! Most of the time, the people will ask the child how old they are, which usually means, they will find out.

You might try Fairy Godmothers this time, and wait for the Kids Clubs until he really is old enough!
