I have a who will be 3 1/2 at the time of our next trip, he is already potty trained and used to daycares/ drop in care centers. I know he would enjoy the smaller kids clubs. How strict are they in enforcing the 4 yr old rule?
thanks

I know that the Kid's Clubs are actually licensed as Day Care Centers. I believe they are licensed for a certain age range and can't take kids that are older or younger.

Welcome to the DIS!

I've been told that the kid's clubs can lose their licensing if it is discovered that they have kids there under the age they allow.

Yikes! My DD will be 4, but she looks much younger and her speech is a bit delayed. I could get her in free to the parks as a 3yo without a problem (j/k -- we have AP's that are paid for!). ;)

Do you think I'll have a problem?

As long as your DD is 4 years old and is potty trained, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Kids Clubs cannot accept children under the age of 4 b/c it is a liscening issue...so even if your 3 year old is potty trained...as tall as most adults or can DRIVE...they still can't come in. I do believe you can get "Fairy Godmothers" for children under the age of four or for kids who have disabilities...*I think*...

My DS did grand adventures in cooking the day after he turned four and went to the neverland club a few days later. To be on the safe side, I had his birth certificate w/us. My DS is tall, so he looks a little older than he is. I was just afraid if he was talking to someone or someone asked him, he'd say he was 3, as he was newly 4.
