Based on the thread about the dream being in yellow status…. Has anyone else heard of quarantines from kids club exposure? I’m really debating whether or not to send our 6yo to the kids club now. It seems like the only place where we could be exposed to a known positive that could be tracked down or known about. The most likely scenario is that kids wouldn’t test positive till the last day so we’d only lose one day. But then I’m wondering if a kid starts showing symptoms and gets tested in the first few days we could theoretically be quarantined for most of a 7 day cruise. I’m having a hard time with risk benefit analysis here.

What length of cruise?

if it’s a 3/4 day the odds are low because you’d be off the ship before symptoms would develop- 7 day the odds would be higher especially as they test kids before porting back at Canaveral

Yes this is for a 7 day cruise. We could handle being quarantined the day prior to debarkation but day 2 on a 7 day sounds like torture.

Following.
We have a cruise booked for March and are rethinking because of the quarantine possibility. My kids love the clubs so going on the cruise and not letting them go to the clubs is not an option. It’s a five day cruise, so most likely the last night would be affected but we have a verandah booked and would not be happy about being quarantined in an ocean view or inside cabin.
