Kids Club is sold out! :(

We are traveling with another family and having an adult night out one of the nights. The other family made their Kids Club reservations but I hadn't gotten around to it yet. I called today and they are sold out! (Oct 4 during F&W, at the Sandcastle Club at the Beach Club resort.) Has anyone had luck if they kept calling to check availability? I'm so bummed! Now we'll have to do in room child care.

I am so sorry to hear about your problem but THANK YOU! I immediately called Lilo's Playhouse because we were looking about a week later so went ahead and booked. I would bet there are cancellations so I'd probably keep checking back. Maybe see if you can tentatively book for in room (check the cancellation policy) and if you get a Sandcastle Club opening, you can cancel the in-room but would at least be covered. I have to admit I would not think they would be booked up yet!

Wow, I've never run into that before!!! And we don't always book at 180 days out for that either. Can you just try another kids club? I mean, yeah, you may have to travel a bit, but there are more out there.

Good thinking! My friend kept reminding me to call and I didn't ... she was right! I am going to do just that - book an in-room sitter and keep calling Disney for openings at the Kids Club. Ugh!!!!

They had openings in Simba's club but we are staying at BCV, and eating at BCV, and the kids in the other family are going to be at the Sandcastle Club - so it's not worth it to make the trek out there.

We may just plan on an in-room sitter for all 4 kids so they can be together, and it would actually be cheaper ... so it might work out ok. But geez! I can't believe it was sold out already!

For the record, my kids LOVED our Kids Night Out sitter. We had a great experience. And, bonus, they were all tucked in and fast asleep when we got home from Epcot -- no picking them up and getting them back to our room!

What about Swan/Dolphin? Still a bit of travel, but walkable.

I would definitely keep calling. My DS8 goes to Sandcastle almost every time we go (including over Christmas Week) and I've never encountered it being sold out. You could look into Camp Dolphin which is walkable from BC and is actually cheaper than Sandcastle. Kids Nite Out is great too!

I first called Lilo's and they were sold out. I called a couple of weeks later and was able to get a reservation.

Thanks for posting. I saw this and immediately called and reserved for our upcoming trips because of your post. We've never had to reserve before but we have always gone during off times. Our upcoming trips will be during busier times and with the changes upgrading Lilo's and the Sandcastle, reservations seem to be more important.
