Has anyone ever used the kids club at the wilderness lodge? :confused3 Dh & I are hoping to check out pleasure Island and just wondering what people have to say about their kids experience. Our dd is 6. Any comments would be appreciated. Any other recomendations?

We did this in June. My kids really liked it. Well, DS9 loved it, DD5 ate dinner, cried, and then fell asleep! But they were really good with her. They called us on our cell and let us talk to her and calm her down, then she was fine. She was just really clingy because she was so tired. She's usually not like that, especially when her brother is there with her. The facilities are nice, plenty for the kids to do, they give them dinner (there are a number of choices). Inside there's TV, computer, games, coloring, dolls, etc. Outside is an area that's like a giant sandbox with trucks, pails and shovels for them to play in. It had rained just before we got there, so the kids didn't get to do this. I say try it out. They have arts and crafts in the afternoon, so you can bring her down then and get her used to it before dropping her off at night. HTH
