Is it possible to hire a bed guard at the cheyanne? If so, how do I do it?

Oh I was wondering this as well as we have a 2 and 5 year old x

I am sure you can hire them someone once posted a pic of all the things you can hire and a bed guard was on. Tbh the bunk beds have a good side on as I recall. Rachael

He's only 3 and will be sharing the double bed with me, so will need a bed guard.

It's been fine in other hotels as I've been able to push the bed against the wall, but the cheyanne rooms are tiny.

Is it just the 2 of you going? When I booked a room for 2 in the Cheyanne they gave us a room with just a double bed and no bunkbeds :) Or maybe you could push the bed against the wall under the window, ie away from the bunkbeds, that would also give you more floor space in one area rather than the narrow gaps between the bed and the end wall?

When me & DIL took GD I rang and asked if bed guards were available, the CM on the phone didn't understand what I was asking for, I got an email confirming a cot would be in the room :rotfl: There was a cot in the room which GD wouldn't go in so DIL ended up using pillows round the edge of the bed! That was at the DLH!!

Not having had kids myself (inherited older stepkids lol) I've never had to buy one but don't they come in tubular sections that slot together and then the fabric part fits over? Just wondered if they would collapse small enough to fit in a suitcase so you could take one with you just incase?

You arrive the same day as us :cool1: If you are on the Eurostar you'll spot me no problem, I'll be the one with enough luggage for a fortnights holiday instead of 5 days :lmao:

I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to push the double bed in the Cheyenne room to the wall (it will be the wall where the window is) so you'll actually have more room between the double bed and the bunk beds.

There's 3 of us going, mum, me and my son. Mum will be on bottom bunk and me and the boy will be in the double bed. I'm unsure about pushing the bed against the window as I don't want him to get a draft if you know what I mean.

Won't be on the eurostar this time as we are up near North of Scotland so flying from Edinburgh. What hotel are you in?

i have been taking my dd since she was 22 months. she as been fine just let him sleep in the middle and you to one side.

We're at the New York this time :cool1:

Don't the curtains come right down to the floor? If you can tuck them behind the bed you should block out any draughts :)

Or you could push it up against the bunkbeds and he can roll about between you and your mum :rotfl:
