Me, DH, DS9, DD3 and DM56 will be dining together the California Grill sounds great. Has anybody brought their kids their (or is it more of an adults only meal?)

And if you did bring kids there- what was the attire? Could we go straight from MK?

Thanks

It depends on your kids. We took our 4 year old DGD in January, and she was fine. But she is a night owl, and is used to eating out. There were plenty of children there that night. The dress is business casual, and we wore nice jeans, and khakis, and nice shirts and shoes.

I ate at the California Grill with my niece and nephew, then 4 and 6, in December. They were fine, and certainly were not the only children there. Before dinner I purchased them a kit in Epcot that had stickers, markers, and coloring sheets. The waiter supplemented this with a big stack of blank paper. The kids ate their meals and then colored quietly for the rest of the evening. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours with no issues from them. They really enjoyed watching wishes from the roof deck.

As far as dress goes, you would be fine with them in whatever you like. We saw everything from casual wear, to PJs, to more dressed up. We chose to dress our kiddos up simply because we were dressing nicely for the meal ourselves. Caili wore a dress and Liam wore a button down collared shirt and khakis.

When hubby and I ate there last September there were plenty of kids. The large party next to us had several, ranging in age from @18 months to 8 or 9. The Mom looked a little stressed, but I thought they were all acting fine. There were lots of other kids in the restaurant, too. There weren't too many kids on the younger side (i.e. 1 - 3), but plenty of "older" kids that are easier to control and reason with. ( :rotfl2: Like you can reason with a 3 year old!)

The dress ranged from "dress shorts" to actual dresses on the little girls. I would have felt uncomfortable coming directly from the park, but I dress casually for the parks. I think I had on slacks and a light sweater set and felt perfectly at ease.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit - it was wonderful!
