I have a 13 yr old daughter, my husband and I were thinking of going to pleasue island with her. How many people bring their kids into the clubs dancing with them?

People do it. But it always bothers me. You wouldnt take your child to a nightclub at home. So why do people do it at WDW? The same drinking, dirty dancing, etc. goes on at Pleasure Island. The last time I was in 8 Trax I saw a family with 2 young kids there. It was late at night, there were a lot of drunk people dancing around and the kids looked absolutely miserable. But a lot of people think that if its Disney it must be okay. Flame me if you will. Thats just my opinion.

your right I would not do it at home why on vaca, I was just under the impression there were quite a few kids there with their parents. But if its just a drunken night club scene I won't dare bring her. Thanks

We have been there quite often. It is not a "drunken night club scene" or we wouldn't go. What time do you want to go? There may be a difference between 9:00pm and 12:00am. What specific club do you want to visit? What night do you want to attend? All very relevant factors.

IMO a Bar is a Bar is a Bar. I don't take my kids to Bars/Night Clubs at home and I won't do it at Disney/PI either.

I took my kids to PI once this summer.I didnt take them into the clubs. I wanted hem an my husbands cousin who was traeling with me to see the show at midight. I wouldt ake them inot the clubs ad i woudnt take them again to see the fireworks either once was enough.

we've taken twin 13yr olds to PI before.. but, we went early and saw the 1st comedy show (can get a little ummm adult later in the night) and then went over to the adventurer's club for a little while.. the kids thought the characters were hilarious.. but, again.. if you go early and leave say around 9-10pm.. then everything should be ok.. and it also depends on when you go.. are you going peak season on a weekend? or value on a monday night.. we didn't have any problems with a "drunken bar scene"... i guess that's because we left before it got to that..
