Kids and Pins

We are going to try pin trading on our trip in two weeks. My little ones are 5 and 3. I was going to order pins on ebay - as a lot- anyway to be sure they are true Disney pins? Anyone have someone they recommend? Thanks!

I don't have a specific recommendation, but I have ordered Disney pin lots from eBay and have been very satisfied. Most of them say in the description that the pins can be traded at any Disney park (or something similar ensuring that they are authentic), so I would look for that. Also check customer feedback. I think you'll be fine, though. Have fun...we pin trading!

I second the above

I had a lot of luck with my Ebay pins. Just look at the photo and do a search on http://www.pinpics.com/ if you are concerned.

DD was 4 when we went last year and LOVED Pin Trading. In fact, the whole family got involved and we managed to get the entire set of Muppet Pins by trading. It was fun to hunt and see what is out there.

But, a warning, it is addictive!!

I buy pins from ebay every time we go to disney. My kids are 7 and 3 now, but my DD was 5 when she started and my DS was 2 when he started. I agree, as long as it says something to the affect of authentic or can trade at parks, I think you'll be fine. Hope you have a great time!!!

We are going in 2 weeks too - first trip with the grandkids old enough to trade - 5,3,2 so we are excited for them. My husband just orders some pins from Ebay from a lady in CA (Disneyland). He bought them on Sunday and they came by Wed. (we live in Tn) and I was very impressed with the pins - great traders for the kids!

I have been buying some on ebay also, to use on our September trip. I looked for the descriptions saying authentic Disney and so far everyone has been accurate. This will be our grandkid's first time trading.

I have bought from two people from ebay with no problems. I only get a lot of 20 so i pay a dollar a pen.
