Any tricks to get them to stay on a little kid during the ride?

Any tricks to get them to stay on a little kid during the ride?

The CMs suggest that they can hold on to them but maybe some kind of quick connecting kids’s sunglass strap would work. I’d rather have my 6 year old be able to actually hold on to the banshee lol.

I used a glasses strap that I attached during the second pre-ride room. Dd 7 and I rode twice like this and it was her favorite ride.

We have not ridden this yet, but I read a suggestion to wear, or put on just before the ride, a stretchy headband. Then tuck the legs of the glasses into the headband. That's what we may try when we go in June. Both of my daughters wear prescription glasses as well, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks, I'll look for a kid's glasses strap, he will definitely want to hold on to the handle bars or whatever it is you hold onto. I'd try a headband but if anyone else can see him he's going to put up a stink.

Ah, until that last post, I was going to suggest Mickey/Minnie ear headbands - at least on my giant headed kids, they were tight enough to help hold the glasses in place.

(Seriously, who were those things made for? My family has giant heads, and the glasses didn't fit any of us)

I have a tiny head and after reading another thread about this I have added my under armor headband to my list. It’s a sweatband for my head so I’m hoping I can tuck the glasses into it.

I wear glasses and I generally have my hair back in a ponytail. I stuck the 3D glass stems into my hair and they stayed on better then just having my ears hold them in place. If you have a little girl this method might work in a pinch.

There's been other discussions on this that you might want to search for. We opted for french braid pigtails for my 5yo and we tucked the glasses into her braids. My 7yo didn't have issues with them being too big, but he does have a big head. Another poster in an early discussions previously suggested sweatbands, which is a fabulous idea!
