Is ESPN just a bar? or would it be ok to take the kids in there with us for some nachos and wings?

It's a Restaurant too. You can take kids in. My kids love their food.

Its fine for kids. Both of mine loved it on our last trip. The nachos are *huge* - we took both the kids' meals to go and they made a meal out of my appetizer. It is definitely one of those places where the appetizer-entree-dessert deluxe dining plan meal is overkill!

Our kids love it there and ask to go back. We are a huge "sports" family though so maybe that makes a difference?

Be sure to check out the bathrooms when you are there!

We loved their nachos. If I remember correctly it was HUGE!

Our kids love ESPN. They can play a car racing video game right at the table while they wait for the food. My husband enjoyed that as well. It was Free! I remember the kids eating well there also.

Yes, I would wholeheartedly agree that ESPN is a great family place. I agree with the poster who said that the nachos are awesome. DH and I can hardly finish them as a lunch! (And we are not light eaters!)

The only time that I would say it's not kid friendly is during Super Bowl -- there was a lot of excessive drinking the time we were there. Most people were just there to have fun with the whole family, but one or two tables were just pounding the booze -- a guy threw up in front of us at one in the afternoon.

That being said, it was once in five years. And we did have a great time at the Super Bowl. 364 days out of the year it's a lot of fun for the family!!

Have fun!:wizard:

Thanks everyone, thats so good to hear! :thumbsup2 We are staying at Y&BC and I thought it would be fun to stop off at the Boardwalk after a day at MGM and have a cold beer for DH and I with a big plate of nachos and some wings for us all to share, we would probably aim to get there for around 4-5pm then enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk back to the Y&BC (hopefully there will be some street entertainers?)
I'm really looking forward to this, it seems like a fun and relaxed way to end a day rushing around the park :goodvibes

Don't go on a Sunday. Football Sundays are very crowded at the ESPN Club. And noisy as the watchers will be cheering their favorite teams (or loudly expressing their displeasure at them).

The wings are yummy! We love ESPN!

I would agree that you need to know what is going on in the "sports schedule" world and try and go when any big games are playing or you could be waiting a while for a table.

I agree, and the lines to get in can be pretty long on some evenings.

Sometimes the Resteraunt is reserved, and no-one else can get in, happened to me a few times.:guilty:
