How well do they like it? We have an adr for this and my daughter said she wished they had different kid things to offer. I tried to get into Mama Melrose's but they were booked, I've done Hollywood & Vine and didn't care for that. I've never tried sci fi either....

both seem to offer the same kids menu. I just feel she's going to get sick of the same old thing...Disney doesn't offer too much of a change for kids...but I'm not going to complain too much seeing how its free ;) What restaurants do your kids like at mgm?

My dd (3 at the time) loved 50's Prime Time last year, she loved the atomsphere and the food. We are going back this year. I agree most of the kids menus are pretty much the same, but most kids only eat a few things, kids who branch out and eat more of a variety are not the norm. Any place that serves chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, mac and cheese or grilled cheese is a place we can eat at, ha ha. :rotfl:

I really cannot remember what DS8 ordered, but I think it was mac 'n cheese. He did not seem to care about the food. He just loved his milkshake and the interaction with Sister Ali and the other tables. DH and I loved the food, however.

Thanks! I think we'll stick with 50's primetime:)

My niece loved it and "branched out so far" that she had a pb+j sandwich with chips. I think she really liked seeing her uncle get in trouble for not washing his hands, elbows on table etc. She also got a clean plate cupcake.

Don't switch it! We just came back from WDW, and this was the best meal we had during this particular trip! I went with a 5 year old and a 17 month old. My daughter ordered Mac and Cheese and had a Shirley Temple (called something else) in a souvenir cup with a glowing ice cube. Son had a hot dog. I had the meatloaf and DM had the pot roast. The desserts (that we had no room for but wish we did) around us looked amazing. Huge and interesting - S'mores looked great! Don't switch it. The only complaint . . . it took nearly 40 minutes to get seated.

Thanks for the great info! I think we'll stick with it!

We just came back & had dinner at Sci-Fi and we all agree this was the worst meal we had the entire week & the poorest service. It took forever to finish the meal -- 20 mins between appetizer & meal and 20 more mins until dessert....DD6 was up & down & all over the place cause she was bored -- she was too young to enjoy anything except for Tom & Jerry -- she couldn't read the sceen nor did she understand the Drive-in concept.....we wish we would have eaten at the Prime Time Cafe....
