Hi all

For those who have been interested in Kidani I have put some video together which might help get a feel for the place. I have tried to embed but I might be doing something wrong or it might not be possible?

Kidani Village video
Jambo house video

All the animal shots were taken in Saana through the window, on the Savanna shot outside the windows on the ground floor to the right of the entrance to the overlook is Saana. The animal views from there have been stunning at lunchtime.

I have also tried to show how although the lobby is 2nd floor the ground rises up giving the effect that the 'underground' parking is underground but is in fact ground level.

The full HD version is available for download from the link it runs a little choppy streamed to my laptop but the original plays fine for me (183MB).

Let me know if there are any problems, I had 'issues' trying to upload, I may try again with youtube.

*A couple of tips* Standard definition also looks good if the HD is too slow, click on the 'HD is on' button in the top right of the video and it will toggle between the two. Also if you pause the video it will continue to download, wait a while and then press play when it has cached enough.

Nice video!! :thumbsup2 What time of the day did you video all the animals?? Seemed to be a lot out. Thanks!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing it. I'm so happy to stay at Jambo House for our first time in 2 weeks and this makes me excited to go over and visit at Kidani while we are there!

Great job. :thumbsup2

Wow, Steve, thanks for the video!! I can't wait to share the waterplay area footage with DNeph and DGrD - they are sooo excited about it and you really captured the 'feel' of it all!:thumbsup2

Thanks :goodvibes wasn't sure how well it would work
We arrived at Saana for 11:30am. That day we happened to also be the 'first family' where they dressed DD traditional Indian dress and DS got a special hat to wear. It was a crazy hot day but the animals seemed to defy the 'not that active during the day' rule. We have had lunch there twice each time sitting in a window and we have seen more there than a whole week Savanna view in Jambo. I think they are still getting some extra food around this time. There are 4 Giraffes a mummy (age 4! DD also 4 asked the server how!) and her sister and 2 babies one is 1 years old.

We check-in on July 27th - can't wait!!

Awesome job! You did a great job on the editing and the music makes me feel like I'm there. Thanks so much for making the effort for all of us.

Thanks!!! We really enjoyed the video.
We will be there on August 2.
I can not wait

Outstanding, Steve! I love the "tipping buckets" and the zebras. Thank you!

Greate video. I sure hope our waitlist for Kidani in December comes through.

Thanks!! I am sure your kids got a kick out of dressing up!! So much fun!!!:)

Thank you so much! And the music was the perfect touch. I especially enjoyed the views you got of the slide. Can't wait to show the kids since that's been their number one question-- what's the slide like??? :rotfl:

The slide is great! I enjoyed it and all the kids that were in line with me seemed to be very excited about it. I asked a couple of the kids what they thought of the water play area and they all said they hadn't tried it yet -- they were having too much fun on the slide!

Thank you so much for your wonderful video. The music is a perfect addition. Great job.

Thanks for sharing the video as well as everything you commented on over on the other thread.
I laughed right out loud when the zebra rolled over! Great job! :flower3:
