Kidani to AKL

We are staying at Kidani for the first time and wanting to know the best way to get to AKL for early breakfasts at Mara or Boma? We know that the bus route stops first at Kidani then picks up at AKL, but it sounds like the buses do not begin to run until 1 hour prior to park openings and we would like to have earlier breakfasts and still make rope drop at the parks. Is this feasible and how?

The Magic Kingdom busses start at about 630 am and Boma Doesn't open until 730. So you could easily get a park bus to breakfast, or walk, it only takes about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

That's great to hear. This is our family's first trip, we have booked 2 - early (0800 & 0730) breakfasts at Boma. Looking at the map we weren't too sure how long it would take to walk between the two parts of the resort, especially with kids, but 10-15 minutes is great and if we can catch the early bus even better.

Is the 0630 bus running everyday? Is the bus specified a character breakfast bus?

We are less than 3 weeks away and are pumped

LOL I was trying to figure out the post.. I was thinking Kidani IS AKL. But you meant Kidani to Jambo house

The bus runs everyday as far as I know and it will have a park name on it.

I am jealous, I love BOMA for both breakfast and dinner. Have a great time.

Sorry for making the post confusing.

Thanks for all the input. We are truly looking forward to this trip. We plan to eat at Boma for breakfast and supper, the menu looks great , so much for taking off a few pounds after the holidays, I'm all for putting a couple on at Disney

Getting from Kidani to Jambo at any time is easy. Just hop on the first PARK bus (AK, MK, HS or EP) that comes along. They will start running about 6:30 AM.

Getting back is a little more difficult. To get from Jambo to Kidani you can only take the DTD bus and they do not start to run till about 8:30.

One big thing to ALWAYS remember in this case, is to tell the bus driver where you are going. For any of a number of reasons, that bus may be doing the AKL run out of order.
