Kidani size versus the main lodge

It appears to me that the Kidani village side of the resort will be at least as large as the main lodge, and maybe even larger. LisaS or anyone else, do you know if that is true? It looks to me like eventually AKV will be the lion's share of the rooms as opposed to AKL.

Room wise it appears that Jambo House is larger, 1293 vs 708. If anybody has other numbers please correct me.

If you are referring to the number of DVC units Kidani will have, then yes it will be considerably more than what's available in Jambo (something like 80% vs 20%). This is simply due to the fact that it will be DVC only whereas Jambo is mostly cash rooms with the 5th & 6th floors considered DVC units.

what about over all number of rooms? meaning...cash and dvc. just to get a general idea of the size of the buildings for comparison. the main lodge building is very large and spreadout with extra long hallways. does anyone have a helicopter view picture of the kidani building in progress? might be interesting to compare.

Assuming the scale is accurate then it looks like Kidani will be at least as large as Jambo.

No, that's not what I mean. I mean that it looks to me like OVER ALL with all AKV units (both in Jambo and Kidani) that DVC will hold more space than the CRO portion of AKL.

just look at that lay-out. kidani and jambo form a mickey. i wonder if they will ever connect the pattern? but the shape is there anyway, just a little offish.

If so, AKV DVC members will be paying the larger share of the resort's total operating expenses. Bigger is not necessarily better, LOL.
