Kidani request?

We have been DVC owners since 2008 and are finally making our first trip to WDW! We are staying in a 1BR Savannah view at Kidani Village. Do you think if I request lower floor near transportation that we will be able to see a good amount of animals from our room? I will say I am nervous about being placed in a room far, far away from the transportation area. We will be beat when we get back and would rather not walk a long distance to our room with three tired kids.

Requests are typically satisfied in order made. Thus , if you make lower floor your first request, they will try to meet that one before the second. Lower floor is half of all the rooms and an easy request to meet. Thus, I would suggest you make lower floor your second request and one of the following your first: (a) near the bus station, (b) near the Timon elevator, or (c) near the community hall. Any of those three would put you close to the bus station -- the Timon elevator is near the exit door nearest the bus station, and the community hall is nearby between that elevator and the lobby. If you are in that area with savanna view you will see animals (there is even a feeding area there to attract them)
