Kidani Question - How far is the bus stop from the lobby?

We are booked for a Standard 2 bed at Kidani in December and my FIL will be traveling with us. He has a bad back and while he can walk fine, it's best if he takes it easy. I am going to request a room near the lobby so the walk is minimal for him.

Just wondering-is the bus stop pretty much right outside the lobby like at most resorts? How far is the walk from the lobby to the bus stop?

He might be using an ECV at the parks, but otherwise will probably do without.

If you get a room near the lobby you will be fine. The walk from the lobby to the bus stop was fairly short (better than at many DVC resorts).

As you exit the lobby, you head to the left and it's a very short walk, maybe 100 to 200 feet away? Less than a minute's walk from the main entrance.

If your room is to the right hand side of the lobby (if standing outside the lobby facing it) there is another entrance to the hallway before the bus stop. If you are staying on that side of the resort you would not have to go through the lobby to get to the bus stop and would reduce the already short walk to the bus stop.

It is a short walk from the lobby. We had a room close to the bus stop and the lobby. The walk wasn't bad to the pool area. It looks worse on the map than it did in person.

I have to ask, is the smoking area right on the path to the buses as indicated in this map?
