Kidani pool hopping for DVC members...

Does anyone know if DVC members can pool hop at Kidanai since it is exclusively a DVC resort? I know that the Jambo pool and Beach Club pool aren't allowed. But is the Kidani pool ok?
Also can DVC members use the splash area? We are doing brunch at Boma on our last day and were thinking of taking the kids over to the splash area afterwards.

The water splash area is within the Kidani pool area. There would be no way to gain access to the splash area and not the pool. As wildernessDad said, you cannot pool hop - you'd have to be staying at AKV to use it.

There's an easy & fun solution to this: just book one night over at AKV. You'll have access to the Both Jambo as well as the Kidani Pool & play area for 2 days & might discover a new resort to love.

No.. we will just stay at AKV another time. WE had actually booked 4 value rooms at Jambo house for this stay but were worried that the rooms would be tight as we would be spending a lot of time at the resort this trip... only 2 park days and the halloween party. We are staying at OKW for the space now... and we have a severely disabled child and 3 others under 4 so moving to a different resort even one night is WAY too much work. They can go to SSR.

Yes, you can use Kidani's pool if you are staying at Jambo.

Yes. Both Kidani and Jambo guests can use the pools & facilities at either building.

Read the link that was posted to DVCNews. I think it's pretty clear.

According to DVC Sales Director Mike Brunson, the new pool complex will be open to all guests staying at either Kidani Village or Jambo House at Disney's Animal Kindom Lodge and Villas.​

It's not considering pool hopping, because it's one resort.

Hi all
I started this post and have changed our ressies to AKL Jambo for our fall trip.
I have recently discovered that in order to stop "pool hopping" at the Kidani pool and splash area, you need to access it with your room key!
So there you go!!
