I need help! I just got my annual dues statement and I honestly can't tell if I owe anything or not. I have 200 points at Kidani. It says that my Sub-Total for 2009 is $651.83 and Total Annual Dues Payable is $948.17. But then by Payment Due it doesn't say anything, and by Amount Due it says $.00.

I thought I would be paying a pro-rated amount for the 8 months Kidani is open this year, but it seems from this statement that I don't owe anything yet?? Do the annual dues start January of 2010?

Could someone please help me with this? I selected to pay my dues annually. I don't want to have problems for not paying annual dues!

Annual Dues are due on June 1st 2009, which is a pro rated amount. I chose to do the monthly payment and my statement also says $.00 due on June 1st, however, further up the statement it says that direct debit is $107.08 which will first be drawn on June 1st. (230 points) I went ahead and paid my dues in full today, rather than have them taking it out monthly. But the monthly option is good in case I do not have the full amount on hand at the time dues are due. I am thinking for me, the amount due was $.00 because I had direct debit already set up to take care of the amount due.

Not sure what is going on. Think it is telling you that the total dues for the year would be the $948 figure, but since you pay only pro rata portion beginning in May, the amount you are actually charged for the year is the $651 figure, but you should not pay anything on this particularly bill (the $.00) and why I am not sure but it may be because you chose to have automatic monthly withdrawal from your account and thus anything you owe will be paid via that method.

Hmm this is weird. I definitely chose the annual payment as opposed to monthly. I also didn't set up a direct debit. Even if I did and I don't remember, it says nothing about direct debit on my statement.

I feel so stupid looking at this statement. I keep looking at it over and over again to figure out what I'm missing!

I would recommend calling MS as well. Mine were supposed to be set up for monthly payments...but were not. One quick call and all is well.

I would call ms I own 100 points at kidani, my sub total and total are the same and your $648 figure is exactly double what mine is and you own double the points. Somewhere the system glitched ( oh what a surprise) call and get them to fix it.

Thanks everyone. I'm guessing calling MS is my best bet. I just feel so silly that I can't understand this statement!

I agree... call MS. We have 200 Kadani points also, our total due was $651.00 but we also had a Sharing the magic credit that I could not locate on the bill. It actually was there, but those staements are rather confusing (IMHO). One call and all was cleared up.
