Kidani 1 BR Standard View

Love disboards!
In visiting touringplans, the 1 BR standard view rooms do not seem to have very good views at all. Has anyone had luck in getting partial savannah views in these rooms at Kidani?

Any special room request ideas? I’m expecting standard view but why not try for partial savannah, right?!

If you want a chance of getting a savanna view room that has been converted to standard view overlooking the Pembe savanna, make request through MS for room near the Pumba elevator. Be aware, however, that if you get that request, you will have very long walks to the lobby and bus station
