What kind of kid pools does the POP have? Meaning are there any that my 1,2 or 3 year old can go in with out me holding them??

There's one near the Hippy Dippy Pool. I wouldn't recommend NOT going in and holding them at that age...

There's also the Goofy Jets that they can walk thru and get wet.

I would be in there with them, but I was wondering if they could touch or walk around on their own. Well, not my 1 year old!!

They have a really fun kiddie pool by the Hippy Dippy pool. I'd guess it's right around a foot deep. It has "water bubbler thingys" (don't know what they're really called) that gently spray water up. My kids went in it alone--they were 4,4,almost 3 at the time. You'd probably want to get in yourself with a one year old though. They also have the Goofy jet spray area, which is really neat too.

**Wanted to add: I'm sure your 1 year old could walk in it. It was not even up to the waist of my almost-3 year old, and he's short for his age. Your tots will be fine!

Well, today for the heck of it the kids and I were looking through our WDW pictures from last year, and found a few from the POP kiddie pool. I was mistaken that it's 12 inches deep--it's only about three inches deep.;) . It comes a little above my 2 year old's ankles in the pictures. For some reason I thought it was deeper, but I guess not! It's more like a big puddle for kids to splash around in than a pool. So, if your 1 year old is walking quite possibly he/she could splash around in it without constant assistance.

When I read these posts on how deep the pool was, I was thinking maybe my daughter was taller than the rest of the world?? The last time we went she was 2 and was able to sit in the center of the pool with no problem - came up to maybe just below her waist.

Your kids are going to have a lot of fun in there. There is a flower off to the side where they can stand under and pull the rope to get wet. There are little jets around the pool and if someone stands on one, the others get a little bit higher, stand on two. etc etc.

It was a nice place for my husband and I to take a break and actually sit down. I sat at the edge of the pool (zero entry) and kept cool there while watching the kids do their thing.

I love the Pop kiddie pool... I think it's one of the best on property. The kiddie pool is located between the lake and main pool area surrounded by palm trees.

I love how it's zero entry... but also the material the pool is made out of. Maybe someone can help me with the actual name.. but it's not concrete... more like rubber... make sense? I wasn't affraid if the little one fell (she gets that from her daddy ;) ) and with no 90 degree edges, wasn't worried if she feel forward or backwards and hitting her head.

The water is shallow... but since it's zero entry... your little one can sit down on the "edge" while the others splash around in the middle. I do remember the middle to be deeper then what PP have said, as I'm pretty sure it went up to my lower calf. The 18mo feel backwards (totally daddy's fault :rolleyes1 ) and was able to lay completely under the water. The play area also has some pop up fountains that were a great asset to the area.

As I said... I think it's one of the best on property... have fun!

Thanks for the replies!! That pool sounds PERFECT for my little ones! Which building would that be closest to?
