My daughter is 10, we are planning on going to WDW and she is not interested in the adult foods. She wants to order from the kids' menu. Can she if we're paying cash for our food? I'm asking specifically about TS restaurants.
Thanks!!!

We didn't have trouble with our 10 year old DS ordering from the kids' menu last year when we were paying cash. We usually had him pick something from the adult menu if he was willing, and if not, we asked the server for a kids menu (a few places they gave him a kids menu at the start). At 50s, he didn't like anything on the adult menu and the server sat down at the table with him (love 50s) and said "what do you like?". He said macaroni & cheese and hot dogs - and that's what he brought him. I think at most places they are very accommodating.

I doubt they'll even ask his age (or have any problem with it if they did.) I'm sure it's no problem.

My DD18 and DD15 had a kids meal at a couple places. When we went to Tokyo dining, my DD18 got the kids meal terriyaki chicken in the bullet train plate. :) She didn't want any of the sushi, etc. At Coral Reef, both of my girls got the kids pizza because nothing else looked good to them. (Although neither of them liked it.)

They don't stop you - especially paying OOP. It is one of the benefits of paying as you go - you can eat where you want without limitations.

My DD(11) has been to WDW 3 times since turning 10 and has never ordered an adult meal. One of those trips we had the DDP and even then I could pay OOP for her.
