My son has a selective eating disorder due to some signifigant texture issues. He usually can find something he can eat off of the kids menu though. I was wondering if it is considered generally acceptable at WDW for an older child to order off the kids menu. We have had success with doing so, except at Tutto Italia where we ordered 3 expensive dinners (my DD eats everything) and a pizza kids meal for my son. The waiter put the order through when we said he wouldn't eat anything else, but did question us first. Has anyone else had this type of experience?

I have successfully ordered kids meals for an adult (me) and also seen menus where the kids meals are captioned as for age X and under only.

I would raise the question at Guest Relations upon entering the park, while inquiring about issuance of a Guest Assistance Card to show to restaurant CM's.

Never had a problem with it. Does he eat kid size portions or would be eat more if given the opportunity, seeing as he's a teenager?? We have ordered "adult' size portions of kids meals at Ts for our DS, who is now 15.
