kid hit by a bus

Has anyone heard anything about the kid that was hit by a bus in WDW?

Recently? A boy was killed on a bike by a bus over at Fort Wilderness last year.

There have been many over the years...the above mentioned one was just a recent (and sad) example.

Before anyone flames the bus system or it's drivers, the incident at Fort Wilderness was a tragedy. Reports say that the young boy had been riding his bike around FW with a flat tire, which led him to fall off and into the path of an on coming bus. Had the tire been properly repaired the incident could have been avoided. Such a shame.

Other then that, I hadn't heard anything more recent.

Someone was hit by a bus while we were there over the Christmas holidays. I don't know anything about the circumstances surrounding the accident but it was on the news that evening.

I look at it this way. How many buses are there on Disney property? A lot. I think that it's a miracle, with the incredible amount of buses, golf carts, etc. that are driven by employees everyday that there aren't more accidents involving pedestrians and drivers.

Month or so back some older man stepped off a curb in front of a Disney bus was over at Port Orleans area think is what was told
