Last time we were in that resort area we were child free and enjoyed meals at Flying Fish and Spoodles. But now with 4 kids in tow not sure where we can enjoy a meal(besides the espn zone- though I am sure I'll be dragged there if a Yankee game is on)
Any suggestions? Where is Big River Brew Company? On the Boardwalk? And is it any good?

Its ok-limited menu..bar atmosphere but you can eat brick oven pizza and sit outside which is recommended with kids.Don't forget Beaches and Cream across the Boardwalk at the Beach Club...very kid oriented, burgers etc..not to mention awesome ice cream,!

Big River Brewery is on the Boardwalk. I am a fan of the restaurant, although many others are not. Decent sandwiches, burgers and similar food. Good beers also. Kids are more than welcome.

I actually think Spoodles is a pretty good place for kids. Good kids menu and the restaurant is pretty busy and noisy so if your kids get a little loud no one will notice. :lmao:

Spoodles pizza window is good. We've picked up pizza and brought it back to our villa. Spoodles also seemed pretty kd friendly - they had a nice kids menu and we saw lots of children there.

I was going to ask how the pizza window is???? Is it regular "disney pizza" we don't care for that ....well the littles will eat the cardboard pizza they serve in the parks. But me ...DH and oldest son prefer real pizza. We wanted to do pizza 1 night. We are staying at BWV. IS there someplace who will deliver there??

The pizza at Spoodle's is definitely not like the cardboard pizza served at the parks. DH detests that stuff. It is real pizza. I believe that they will deliver to the Boardwalk villas. I think there was a brochure on the kitchen table. I've always just walked over and picked it up.

We did Spoodles for breakfast one morning and it was fine for kids. Other than that, it was the pizza window.

Thanks!!:) We are doing our big meal at lunch....and thought Pizza would be a good thing to get later one night:thumbsup2

You can get sandwiches in the Boardwalk Bakery, also. Really good deli sandwiches, and also PB&J's and other simpler ones. They don't have a big menu of them, but they're tasty - and the brownies are fantastic!

We also got a whole pizza from the Spoodle's window, and it was better than the park pizza - but still not as good as around home! LOL!

The kiosk right next to the boat dock serves chicken fingers and hot dogs, but DS got sick from eating here - it was very greasy.

We are fans of ESPN - so we did a few meals here.
