For Key West, I know that there is the Conch Train and the Old town Trolley. From what I understand the Conch train does not stop while the Old town trolley does stop and you can get back on later. Has anyone here done either of these tours and which one do you think might be better. Ticket prices are the same and to save a little bit of money I want to get the tickets online before I go. Thanks a lot.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe if you book the tour through Disney it does not allow you to get on and off. If you book directly with the company, you can get on and off.

that's what I had read also, that if you book through Disney, you can't get off... what's up with that?
There's probably a good reason, but never having never been on the tour, I don't understand why you can't get off??? I want to get off the trolley at the Southern most point of the United States to take pictures... I'm probably going to book the tour on my own.

We did the trolley and they did stop and let you get off about half way through at a gift shop. We got off for good at that point because all six of us were board to tears. I hate to say that because I know everyone has their own opinions but none of us enjoyed it that much. I think I had rather rent one of the electric cars when you get off for $39 an hour and do that tour on my own. Also we booked the trolley but we were firmly told by the trolley company uon arrival that we did not get to pick which one (train or trolley)....but instead we had to take what was next. We insisted on the trolley and they finally gave in. We booked through Disney.

Thans everyone. My husband said to book the trolley (even though he isn't going) as we can get on and off as we would like. Not booking thru Disney, so I know that if I book the trolley I can get on and off. Again thanks.

Hi there - this is Shirley - you know the one that was born and raised in Key West - anything you would like to know, I can help - I have offered many many times all kinds of information on Key West at no cost except a SASE - I do not receive any "kick backs" for offering the information - I do it simply just to help those that will be going to my hometown - I will also warn those that are going down to be aware of the tatics that the tee shirt shops use to overcharge you - stay away from all of those closes to Mallory Square - I also have coupons etc that will help you with discounts - I will be going back "home" next month and hope to bring back more information that will help you.
