We just returned from a great week at Keystone Colorado. We traded our points for "The Timbers" and highly recommend it. Keystone is great for families: lots to do besides just ski, and lots of great places to eat!

:p

Welcome to the Board and thanks for your post.

It's been a long time since we've been to Keystone but we really enjoyed it too. Our kids a little too young right now but we hope to return one of these years.

PS.
Meet you at B&K for a chili dog?

Hey E&J,
It's been about ten years since my last trip to Keystone. We also enjoyed the family atmosphere. Great place to ski.

By the way.......is that restaurant at the top of the mountain still there? I can't remember the name, but we loved the whole experience of getting there and the food.

The restaurant has a funny name: Alpen Stube or something. You can only get there by riding two (cold) gondola rides to the Summitt House. However, it is very romantic and well worth it!

The restaurant is 5 star and at 11000 feet the highest fine dining experience you may ever have. The menu is all one price (drinks excluded, but the have a wonderful wine selection). They offer a six course meal that changes from time to time. It was simply marvelous. If you go during the week, the crowd is very tame and I suggest you request seating in front of the fireplace for a truly romantic feel.

:D
