Keys to the Kingdom - when to book?

We'll be in Disney from 25th March to 8th April, right over the Easter period. I know the parks will be heaving for the first few days of our holiday but they should lighten up for the last week.

So here's the thing. When should we book our tour for? This is what I'm thinking at the moment.

Book it early in the holiday so that we will be in the park for the fireworks and parades later but won't be in the quesues for rides during the day. This will leave us free to do the rides later in the holiday when the lines are shorter.

Does this sound sensible?

I would do it when the park is busy - that way you aren't missing out! Let me know how the tour goes - I'm hoping to do it in June!

we done the tour last Oct really enjoyed it
I would do it when the parks are busy aswell try and get an early tour then you can get into the park before everyone else which is really nice
