Didn't quite know where to post this question, but figured here was as good as anywhere! Has anyone done the KTTK tour recently? I did it ten years ago and remember getting to ride The Haunted Mansion and eat lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. I thought maybe we rode POTC too? Does anyone know if this schedule is the same now, or different? My fiance wants to eat lunch at Liberty Tavern that Sunday when we arrive at the park, and our tour is scheduled for Thursday. Didn't know if we'd be eating there twice, and if I could wait to do those rides on Thursday!

Ah ha! You may be right. I had never eaten there when I went on the tour ten years ago, and I've never been to Liberty Tree Tavern either, so that might explain my confusion.

I did the tour in the summer of 2013 and lunch was at Columbia Harbour House. We rode POC, HM and...wait for it...Winnie the Pooh. (That was used to highlight the little mementos of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride as well as specific attraction techniques.) It was a wonderful tour and well worth the money. Enjoy!

They are both in Liberty Square so easy to confuse the two.:)

We just did the tour earlier this month, on 3/7. Lunch is still at CHH and we rode HM and Jungle Cruise :)

We rode HM, Jungle Cruise, Pirates and Winnie the Pooh. We had the early tour so many people were still kind of asleep so they didn't ask too many questions. We got to see the Utilidors and backstage areas. We had a preset lunch (ordered off a menu before the tour began) from Columbia Harbour House.

Good to know, thank y'all! I know we won't be on Jungle Cruise because it closes the first Monday of our trip and our tour is that Friday. How long did your tours last? I thought I remembered our tour getting out around 2-3 ten years ago? Could be off, I was 15 when I did it!

Did it last December. HM was closed so we did Jungle Cruise. The tour took 4 hours. Lunch was the only disappointment. Found out later that CHH has a Lobster Roll on the menu, but that was not offered too us. I guess because it costs a dollar more than the fried processed stuff we had to pick from.

Our tour was a little over 4 hours by about 15 minutes. I agree with the PP that lunch was disappointing, they had a bunch of fried options. I picked the shrimp and picked off the breading. They also had a salad if I remember correctly which my dad got but he left feeling hungry because the salad was tiny.

I did it a couple of years ago. Lunch at CCH and we rode HM and JC. I am such a Disney geek...I loved the whole thing, including lunch. :earsboy:

I'm pretty sure I got chicken tenders and fries when I did it, but like I said I was 15 so I was probably excited by that haha. Oh well, it's not a dining credit I have to use and I feel like I'm paying the money for the tour and not so much the lunch. I'm pretty sure my fiance is going to love the tour, he really likes the behind the scenes type stuff. I'll be interested to see what we ride. We're doing the 9:30 tour, so I'll have to update on what the schedule comes out looking like!

We did the 8am tour and got through the gates 20 minutes early. They let us take pictures all the way to the end of main street with no people in the shots.

Do they require you to pay in full when scheduling the tour or do they make you pay the day of the actual tour? I'm sure a credit card is needed for the reservation.

Did this the tour this past Wednesday and it was great fun. Lot's of neat info and now I know some pretty obscure trivia answers!

DH and I would really like to do the tour, does anybody know how quickly tour dates get booked up? Will be going in September

We did KTTK tour in November 2012 and it still had the lunch at Columbia Harbor House. We did the tour on a Monday and it was not full. We are going in September too, 12th - 19th. We're skipping the tour this time since we're taking our toddler DD for the first time. Pirates is being refurbished in September, so I don't know if that will be on the agenda for that time period. But Maunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise were on our tour as well as going into the utilidoors.
