What type of ID do you need to show in order to take tour? Has anyone ever taken a 13 yr old on the tour. I don't thing the "Magic" would be spoiled for a 13 yr old. Thanks

When I booked the tour they made it very clear that we had to have a driver's license/id. When we checked in, they did not check our id. However, me and my mom are over 16.

They may ask your 13 year old how old he/she is. Yes, I do think some of the magic is "spoiled" for a young person. We had all adults so our guide could act more adult.

You need to be sixteen to do the tour and I was told for my 16 DD that they would only accept her student ID if I have her birth certificate as well since she doesn't have a drivers license.

The age limit is for insurance purposes, and they DO check. If you aren't 16 or you look younger or close and can't provide proof, you won't be allowed on the tour.

Anyone who does not have an ID will not be allowed on the tour no matter your age. When we took it there was a family of 4 who forgot their ID's or thought the resort ID was enough. They were not able to go on our tour.

I booked a Epcot tour last week and they were very clear that an ID was a must.
I think there are only 2 tours that allow under 16, the Family Magic Tour and The WDW Trains tour.
