DH and I are taking DD to WDW lst week of June while her brothers are on a school-sponsored tour of Europe (poor dears - :sad2: ). She is 16 and old enough to go on the Keys tour. DH and I have been before a few years ago (separately, on solo trips). I had a great guide, and he had a so-so guide. Do you think we can call the week before and request a guide by name or would that be totally against the Disney system? We want our DD to have a great time :love1: !
Any of you other Disney vets have any thoughts?

I have heard of people requesting a particular guide when they make the reservation. But I don't understand how that works, the person on the phone can't know exactly who's working which tour :confused3 We took the tour in May '04 and had Rae as our guide- she was so awesome!

Another vote for Rae. She was fantastic!! If I remember correctly, she usually does the first tour of the day. Most Disers who reported having her had the early tour.
