When the ship is docked at Key West, how far away are you from the "southern most point of USA"? I've never read of anybody stopping here. To me that would be one of those great photo ops. Also, when in Key West has anybody visited the City Cemetary? I've read that they have some beautiful tombstones and some unusual epitaphs. Call me crazy but I would like to see that. Too bad my passporter is at home or I'd look for answers there!

From what I recall, we were pretty far (not within easy walking distance) of the southern-most point. I think it was probably somewhere around 4-5 miles, but could have been further.

Didn't make it to the cemetary - sorry.

You won't believe me when I tell you this but I was trying to think of your "psiklops" name so I could get to your trip report. I could see your pictures but couldn't think of the name! How spooky. Do you have a web address to your trip reports? For some reason when I click on the link it won't open for me.

Well, aren't you mr. smartie pants!!!! Neat pictures on that website, though! Now who can tell me about the cemetary (IN KEY WEST!)

We took a cab down to Higgs Beach and passed the southern most point of the continental U.S. It is quite a walk but doable or less than $10.00 cab ride.

If you plan on using the Old Town Trolley Tours , the southern most point is one of the stops.
