Key West excursions

We're specifically looking at a dolphin watching excursion, either through Disney or independent. Has anyone done one? Our biggest limitation is time...our ship docks at Mallory Square from 12:00 - 5:45. We have 2 families cruising together, with 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 5, 5, and 8) total, so walking Duval isn't really an option. We might just go tour the aquarium and go back to the ship.

Any other suggestions for excursions with kids this age? This is our last port and we depart the next day, so I'd like to find something exciting/fun for the kiddos.
