Has anyone used KTTW cards recently instead of Magic Bands? If so, do you know if the room folio/list of charges you receive at checkout identifies which members of your party made each specific charge, like it does when you use a Magic Band? My son is going with some friends and they are trying to figure out how to identify charges if they only have one credit card on file for the room. Or, conversely, can they each put their own credit card on file and link their KTTW card to their specific credit card at check-in? Thanks!

I have read posts that say you can have more than one credit card on file, but I believe that has to be arranged upon arrival at the front desk. They might want to check into that possibility. I haven’t used a KTTW since MB were introduced, so I can’t help there.

I'm pretty sure you can have more than one credit card attached to a room regardless of whether you use KTTW card or MB to pay for charges. Yes, I do think it has to be done when you check in because you have to set up a PIN number on the card although I think you can do that on the site too but I'm not sure if you can set up more than one using MDE.

I realize that this isn't always the case, but the one time I put my credit card on file as a separate charge from the primary person on the reservation, it worked for exactly one day. After that, everything I charged was charged to the primary person's charge card.

I didn't realize this had happened until checkout. Fortunately the primary person was my sister and I just paid her back.

Just be warned that this could happen.

And, yes, I had my own PIN. And the first day's charges that I used my MB for showed up on my credit card.

OP, is there any reason why these people can't just use their credit cards instead of the room key? That's what I do now.

Advise them to use their own credit cards for charging. It would be quite a mess if it doesn’t work out right.
