Key to the world card questions

Does Disney still use a room card for everything (room key, park passes, shopping) and is this what you would use if you have dining plan too?
If it's still done this way, can you still use Disney dollars to pay balance or deposit to open account (I forgot exactly how we did this last time)

Yes the Key To The World is used for everything during your trip and YES, Disney Dollars are still used as currency at WDW. Enjoy your magical trip!
