Key Lime Pie Question

I believe the Boardwalk Bakery has the little round Key Lime pies also. There's something special about having the whole little round pie for yourself.

I think you have to go to the bar, mention casually you are staying offsite and wink - then you get the tart, or tort, or torte.

Alternate recipe for men: go to Publix: locate bakery section; order entire pie; return to room; enjoy with family (and coffee)!

Well, NG , it looks like I messed up from the get-go. I didn't go to the bar, never mentioned where I was staying and - most importantly - forgot to wink !!

I don't know about doin' the Publix pie route, though. To travel to Old Key West for the Key Lime experience and then using Publix ( ie, "off-site" ) for the pie might mess with the whole fabric of space-time. I have this twisted mental image of RichYams's spirit saying "Be careful, young Dvc'r - there is a disturbance in the HANAME."

I need some sleep - this is getting way too weird.
