My mother loves key lime pie and I was wondering where at WDW will we be able to find some for her? We are w/o a car so it has to be on property, thanks ya'll!
I know that Chef Mickey's has key lime pie on the dessert bar of the buffet, along with cheesecake, brownies, choclate mouse pie, carrot cake.......sorry got carried away there.
Many years ago DH had some of the best key lime pie ever at lunch at the Grand Floridian.
It is also on the menu at Olivia's at Old Key West resort. This is a nice place and the desserts are great. Their KLP is actually a round, individual serving with a graham cracker crust ( kind of shape and size of one cupcake). My Dad loves it.
Let me offer you this from a true key lime pie lover. NOT that crappy icky sweet, not tart junk! But the sweet, so tart your mouth puckers kind of pie that seems to be so hard to find.
The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom has some great Key Lime pie on the buffet.
HOWEVER, the best darn key lime dessert I had was at the Coral Reef. It is a key lime creme brulee with blood orange sauce. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! It was so tart (yet sweet) that my whole mouth tingled. This was incredible for anyone who appreciates the true Key Lime tartness.
