Pete just posted on Facebook whether or not we prefer pre recorded or live shows.

He just pre recorded a show and thinks that might be the new direction of the show as it might be lighter and more fun.

Ill have to wait till I hear the new show to compare the two but there is definitely one upside to live shows.

Now I dot listen live but I do love that Kevin interacts with chat.

On any given subject Kevin is watching chat and will occasionally answer one of our questions.

I like the interaction and would miss that if the show stopped taping live.

However one idea would be to ask for listener questions for an upcoming topic that you could include into your shows.

Just thought I'd share a little love for Kevin's love of the chaterotie :)

Or...at the beginning of each pre-recorded show, have a "follow up" segment on relevant comments from the previous show?

How about just going to Dis Unplugged chat on Wednesday nights like we used to do!

They kinda do have that now. The email and voicemail shows are back so you can leave a voicemail or email the team and they May include it in a show

I really enjoy the live shows! I hope they keep that format...I can see mixing it up and doing some live, some pre-recorded, but the live shows are great, imo!

How many do they get in chat in a busy day? 400-500?

I have not been in chat for a while due to work so I can't recall

I don't mind either way. It doesn't NEED to be live. I'm sure people who regularly chat during the live show would miss it, but I don't think they'd cry if they had to watch it on YT or podcast format.

..and only a few people joined us in a lively chat last night. :faint:

We had fun last night. Not a lot of us but it was still fun.
