It hadn't been brought to my attention until now and I know it was mentioned a few weeks ago on the Disneyland Podcast, but as a fan of Old Yeller, Swiss Family Robinson, The Mickey Mouse Club, The Shaggy Dog, and Moochie of the Little League (as seen on the Disney Channel early one morning), and Pete's Dragon (behind that camera), I feel like I should say something here. After a five year battle with cancer, we lose another one. A Disney Legend, inducted in 2006...
In the spirit of the historical Disney context and a shout-out to a fellow MMC alumnus who's "Connecting with Walt" series is available for consumption on YouTube and iTunes, I'll use Kevin's own words to talk about connecting with Walt...
"As a child, he (Walt) was very much interested in making sure that I wasn't being taken advantage of and that I always felt that he was concerned that I was having a good time, ya know?"
