It says "Limited Release" on the back of the watch.

According to the CM at Disney Info...."Not all shops offer the same promtion. This promotion will last until they run out. Managers make those decisions and they can change at any time. It might run for months. They have no idea how long it will run. No one tells them anything about the promotions. There is no watch promotion. Are you sure what you bought was a watch and not a tote bag? Where did you buy the watch? They have a lot of watches. We're just not sure about anything about a watch."

I certainly hope that clears things up for you.

We bought the watch at the store just over the bridge as you enter World Showcase from Future World. There are two identical buildings. If you are looking across the lagoon at the USA, it's building on the right.

You said you can save your receipts. I purchased something from the art of disney store at mk on sat the 21st do you think i could take my receipt this sat the 28th and get this?

They've had the watches for a while at various locations. I bought one probably a year ago and liked it so much I bought a second one when I was there in January. I collect Disney watches and figured I'd like a second when this one gets worn. It's my everyday watch. Like Kevin said, you never know when it will end but it's been part of a promotion for a year or so for sure.

there was a request for an item#, but I don't see that.

the barcode number is 00170 17001. on the left of the barcode is a 4, on the right of the barcode is a 3.

I bought two of these back in September. I bought them in the men's and women's size. I got mine at MouseGear's. They were $15.00 a piece then. I think you had to buy $75.00 of stuff at that time.

This picture is of the women's size. The men's had a larger face.

They've had the Mickey Through the Years watches for a while, at least from Sept 2008. That's when I got mine. They're available in two sizes: large & small. The large is supposed to be for a man & the small for a woman but the "small" is large enough for a man I think. I got mine from the gift shop on main street. I knew about this watch before my trip & was looked all over for it in the four parks & resorts. They didn't have it at the Magic Kingdom watch store, nor did they even know about it. Finally I found it at the gift store on Main Street.

The watch in the photo is the same watch that we described.

The park icons are at 12,3,6 and 9. (MK at 12, Epcot at 3, DHS at 6 and AK at 9)

THe watch apprently comes in two sizes. The watch we bought is bigger than the watch in the picture.....but it's the same watch
