Hi, everyone. This thread is such fun and so fascinating to me. My question is how are you all shipping the k-cups to make it affordable?
Ok here is what I've got-
12 Green mountain Pumpkin Spice
Mix of 10-
3-Wolfgang Puck Creme Caramel (best if used by 2/14/11)
3-Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream
2-Green Mountain Island Coconut
2-Wolfgang Puck Hawaiin Hazlenut Aloha Noisette (best by 1/24/11)
My favs are Gloria Jeans Coffees but open to try something new.
Only Wolfgang Pucks have the best by dates, I am fairly certain the coffee would still be fine after them, but just wanted to let you know ahead of time.
Bed, Bath and Beyond had Golden French Toast today for $9.99 a box for anyone looking for it.
Does each drink come in it's own platic cup to be thrown away? Don't you guys have lots of coffee mugs already that tea bags would work and take up less space-in your cupboard and trash can? I hope I'm confused about what these K-cups are.
I put two scoops in my permanent filter and make a perfect cup of coffee. I can add anything I want to my cup-my ceramic cup that doesn't go in the landfill. Often, I use loose tea in my stainless tea ball and make a pot of tea-no trash. I'm sorry to rain on your parade. It just seems like something our parents would have embraced in the 50's and 60's before we learned reuse/reduce/recycle.
Not raining on my parade, perhaps the kcup swap thread is not a good fit for you.
You do yours, we will do ours. Kcups are pretty easy to research, try google to educate yourself. We still use regular ceramic mugs for our coffee if we wish.
SamanthaL - any chocolate glazed donut cups to trade - I want to try this before I buy a box of 18? Figured it couldn't hurt to ask?
I have to trade:
Holiday Blend
Spicy Eggnog
Gingerbread
Celestial Seasonings Sweet Lemon Black Tea
Gloria Jean Hazelnut
I would like to try Chocolate Glazed Donut or Pumpkin Spice
