Looking for a new workout video and thinking about trying kettlebells. My question is what weight do i start with?

I have been using dumbbells for weight workouts and typically use a 5lb pair during my workouts now. The lowest I've seen kettlebells start with is 7lb. Should I start with that or go higher since hte videos I've looked at seem to use 2 hands on the bell in the clips or pass it back and forth.

Any tips you wanna share would be great. :thumbsup2

I have a 3 bell set that has 5, 10 and 15lb kettlebells. I just started using them and the 5lb does really give a good workout. The 10 lb is a little too heavy still. So if you are used to using weights a 7lb might work well for you. They have them at Wal-mart and target so maybe you could just go and use one there and see how they feel

I work at Target so i have fooled around with them a little bit. That's why I'm kind of on the fence about the weight because both the 7 and 10lbs feel somewhat comfy. Not going to buy there though because I can find them cheaper even if i have to do ebay, plus I don't want videos that come with the ones at Target. I have other videos in mind for the workouts.

I have a set with 5, 10 and 15 pounds. Right now I'm just starting out with them, and I mostly use the 10 and 15 pounds - 15 for two-hand swings and 10 for any work with just one arm.
