We were there Feb. and it was a total great day for all (DH, DS12, DDs 8&9, me). 1st thing get on the tour, it takes you out to the lunch site, on the way the guide give you information about all you see, they also point out gators, and eagles any wild life along the way(Bonus!) The busses run constantly so when you want to leave just get on the next bus. You the go to a building that has the actual control panel from the apollo missions & you relive a launch, very cool. if you have older kids like mine, make sure they see Apollo 13 before they go it will help them to understand how we got to space in the 1960's. If you are a child of the sixties the the next step of the tour will give you goosebumps as it is all the equiptment we saw in the beggining of the space missions. My kids loved seeing the space capsule, and were wowed that they dropped innto the ocean for return to earth. After that return to the main campus(by bus) to see a
a replica of the shuttle, they have 3 different movies geared to different age groups. For kids see the Mars Attack by Mad Science, very Disneyesque. there are places to eat, a playground and the "rocket garden"
Very worth it IMHO
