Forgive me, I know I have read about this topic elsewhere on the boards, but I cannot find it and the search option does not like me today (isn't working).
Has anyone ever attended a shuttle launch? If so, where did you view it from (the Space Center or Offsite) and how did you get there...are there any tour busses from Orlando that will take you there?
My husband really wants to see the launch scheduled for Aug 28th. We didn't plan on renting a car and quite frankly, we'd probably get lost and into a big fight about it (yeah, we'd lose the Amazing Race due to our poor map reading and our bickering).
This disney trip was all my idea and it would really sweeten the deal for him to watch the shuttle launch...I mean, IF it launches as scheduled.
Sharing your knowledge with me would be greatly appreciated.
