We've already bought tickets and booked a tour for Sunday April 18th. I learned this morning that as of right now that's the day Discovery is supposed to land at the KSC. I called to find out about how that would impact us. The Guest Services person said we won't be allowed to stop at the landing area during our tour (even though it lands at 8:30 and we're touring at 1:50). I also asked if landing days increased crowd levels and he said "Oh yes, absolutely!" (like that was a GOOD thing). Has anyone been there during a landing day? Are we going to be swamped with crowds and traffic? We can't change the date because the tour we purchased is date-specific and also due to all our ADRs on other days, it's too late to change now. While it would be cool to see it land, if possible, I'm dreading the crowds...I'm also secretly hoping the "mission" gets extended and the landing date changes!
