I've booked with Ken 4 times, and my rate has never gone down. This is my understanding of how it works: Wyndham owners pay a certain number of points at over 60 days out, and then he gives you his price at that point. If there is still availability for the type of accommodations that you want at less than 60 days out, then he can re-book at a lower point value, thus saving him points and you money. I "think" he actually makes more money if he can do this, even though he is lowering your cost. If you are going during any fairly busy time of year, don't expect this to happen, though.
