Kelty Child Carrier in the Parks?

i think you should be fine...we wore DS on our backs alot in disney. granted our carriers dont have back packs attached but we did use a backpack and brought the carrier and bag on rides with us...having a carrier really helped us with the lines...ds didnt try and run off it was great.

That would probably be fine. If it was a framed carrier, I wouldn't, but that one doesn't look too huge.

If you are looking for something smaller though, I HIGHLY recommend olivesandapplesauce.com (you can find some used on thebabywearer.com FSOT)

SUPER comfy and supportive, but not as big as a kelty :)

we will also be bringing our Ergo carrier, which is much smaller, but the Kelty has lots of storage room, etc, and is good for using over a long period of time.
Plus the baby has better visibility being up high.

I'm just concerned that it will be too large to fit under the seats on rides.

Good call on the Ergo! If you are wanting something with storage space, why not purchase the Ergo backpack? It would function as the kelty you have but the backpack would be removable if you needed it to be :thumbsup2
