Kelly Rippa on Disney

Did anyone watch Regis and Kelly this morning?
She was saying that on vacation the past two weeks that she begged Michael to go to Disney because it was raining in the Hamptons.
They didn't end up going but can you imagine just sitting around and saying "let's go to Disney this week"?
I wonder if they really get to enjoy it when they go?

Yep, saw that...I'm sure sitting in the Hamptons in her beautiful estate in rain that's pouring "frogs" is a heck of lot more exciting than sitting in our homes doing the same thing. I felt terrible for her

You just know she'd be at the GF and Florida's weather was no better at that time.

Heck, I don't mind doing Dis in the rain, obviously I would prefer sunshine, but if you were giving me a free trip and it was raining, no prob, that's what rain suits are for. I just get my mind set on getting wet. With Florida weather, I think its better to have this attitude anyway, cause if it ain't currently raining, just wait cause it will be. I don't think I have ever gone when there wasn't atleast a 30 minute shower around 3 or 4pm in Orlando.

Kelly's husband's name is Mark Consuelos. Her son's name is Michael.

I actually talked with Keli at the Yacht and Beach Club pool about 6 years ago!! She was there for Super Soap weekend her and Mark were VERY nice they only had Michael at the time and he was very smart for such a young boy!! She actually borrowed my sunscreen!!

I really like Kelly Ripa. I think they go to Disney quite often though. I know her and her kids love it there, she talks about it all the time!

I was in florida this jan and saw them at magic kingdom. Didn't say anything but snapped a picture as they walked by..

Watching Regis and Kelly in Spring of 2005 at WDW (it may have been early summer) ... made me book my FIRST EVER trip in Feb of 2006 and now I am in with the mouse and I have another trip in Nov 2006 and one next October 2007.

Since it is ALL HER FAULT - wearing those GOLD EARS!, maybe she will pay for my trips - you think?

Yeah, I was also going to comment that (not me) several DisBoard members have seen Kelly at WDW. She is a big fan... and why not?

If I had to go to the Hamptons, I'd rather go to Disney too!!!

And, as someone was commenting on her weight on this thread... I'd like to point out that Kelly once weighed 197 lbs. I heard that somewhere on a show... she was talking about it. So, kudos to her (unlike me ) for getting at a weight that makes her happy.

I saw her talking about that this morning. I rarely watch Regis & Kelly anymore because usually I just leave it on the Today show. Yes it must be nice to be able to do that at the drop of the hat but she works pretty darn hard so I'm sure she has very little time to do what she wants. However I noticed that ABC didn't pick up Hope & Faith for another season which is kind of a shame since it was a pretty funny show and it was one of the good things to watch on a Friday night.

I'm glad that even though she's a working mom, she really puts a lot of effort into her kids and isn't one of these celebrities that expects someone else to raise her kids for her while she works. I know she has some help, how can she not, but you do see so many photos of her with her kids in magazines.

I too would take Disney over the Hamptons and all the hoity-toity people that live there. However if someone were willing to just give me a house in the Hamptons, I might change my mind. Actually, I'd probably sell it and use some of the money to join DVC!!!

I had never heard her say that, she must have been pregnant at the time b/c every other time I have seen her she was slim.
I think she is adorable and seems so sincere, I would love to run into her.

I saw her also in MK in January. We were sitting on a bench on the pathway between Toontown and Tomorrowland and she walked by with her stroller and a CM. I didn't say anything or take a picture. She was gabbing away with the CM!
