Kelly Pipa Ripa

I really like Kelly . I think she seems really fun, and she always makes me laugh. When I've seen her at WDW for the filming of the Christmas parade, she always interacts with the crowd. I like Regis, but he's not usually as friendly in person as Kelly.

The only thing that bugs me is when she talks about her looks in a negative way. But at least she's not stuck up about them. And in case anyone is basing their opinion of her on her character Faith, Kelly is nothing much like that character.

I LOVE Kelly!!!!! She is hilarious!!!!!!! I see so much of myself in her (please don't think I'm conceited)!!!!

I was lucky enough to get tickets to see her and Reg in May of last year at WDW. To make a long story short, the producer moved DBF and I to the front row. I guess Kelly liked my shirt (she stopped and chatted during a commercial and saw my shirt which said "I SHould Have My Own Tv show) and she told me to meet her behind the stage after the show. I got a picture with her and she and Regis signed my ticket!!!

Here we are in the front row: (notice how happy I am and Kevin is like "What are we doing here?!?!"

The next day Kelly remembered me and waved and said hello again:

Her daughter, Lola, stood next to us during 2 shows and the parade. She was SOOO cute:

On a side note, Rob & Amber (Survivor) were soooo awesome!!!! They stopped and posed and talked to us. Turns out, the live about 10 miles down the road on Pensacola Beach!:

Anyone else find Kelly Ripa annoyingly self absorbed & immature?

I mean, god bless her for providing for her family, but can she talk about someone else for once, like maybe a guest on her show, instead of flipping her hair around & making kissy faces at herself into the camera!

I just thought of this while changing the channel to anything but Hope & Faith...too bad, I like Ted McGinley!

Does anyone else find posts like this annoying..... I don't know why but it bothers me that people today can waste energy worrying about things like this. If I don't like a TV personality I just don't watch... I don't feel the need to trash him/her.....

I have NEVER liked Kelly Ripa! Drives me so nuts I can't stand to watch her.
Certainly comes off VERY self absorbed.

I was no Kathie Lee fan, but when they replaced her with Kelly Ripa - I really did one of these - .

Kelly spends so much time staring at herself in the monitor, that she's rarely looking into the camera she's supposed to be looking into. Drives me nuts.

I only watch this show when I'm at the doctor's office and it's on the TV there. And even then, I try not to look, but it's like a train wreck.

I think what she does is all an act and is meant to be taken with a grain of salt.

This is not 20/20. No in depth interviews. It is all for fun.

I love how she tells a story. Does anyone remember a few years ago, when she was on vacation at a beach, and she was trying to get Micheal to come out of the sand and get in the shower, and he was being difficult. Long stoy short, someone was behind her, sympathizing with her struggle with the kid, and it ends up being Scott Baio. she was star-struck. She went on and on how she couldn't belive it was THE Scott Baio. She then said, she fumbled with a greeting, talked a minute and he left. She said she look down, and one of her breasts was out of her bathing suit. She then went on about how it was the "saggy" one. It got even funnier, she then tells how she went back and told Mark, and after she finished telling Mark she was hanging out talking to Scott Baio, Mark ask, "it wasn't the saggy one was it?"

I have laughed for YEARS over that one!

OMG! I LOVE that story! I can see where a gal her age would feel that way about Scott Baio! She deadpans so well! I'm amazed that she and Mark have stayed together, considering he's "Mr. Kelly Ripa".

I can only watch this show during the summer, since I'm at work during this time & I can only watch so much TiVo!!

OMG! I LOVE that story! I can see where a gal her age would feel that way about Scott Baio! She deadpans so well! I'm amazed that she and Mark have stayed together, considering he's "Mr. Kelly Ripa".

She's pulling down millions between LIVE w/ Regis and Hope & Faith, and then all the ads she does for Commerce Bank and Disney. It's no wonder he stays with her!

I love Kelly. She just cracks me up! I didn't like her at first, but now I hate when she isn't there. I also love Regis and I think he is the cutest old man ever!

Thanks... And thanks grinningghost too! Really, no worries....I love my DIS'ing, the Tag Fairy, my very busy & meaningful life, & esp having some fun on the DIS even if its to vent about a big headed celebrity every once in a while

MIRANDADANDA- I have to admit, those are great pix I actually saw that one, I remember Rob & Amber - they seem real sweet, actually Kelly was sweet to be so personable! I just cant stand her on tv....

I have to agree w/ the poster who mentioned they loved her when she 1st joined Live & was pregnant, I was too & related, now you just cant relate & its not a money issue, its the "Live w/ Kelly Ripa" seems like its gone straight to her head
