Anyone else find Kelly Ripa annoyingly self absorbed & immature?

I mean, god bless her for providing for her family, but can she talk about someone else for once, like maybe a guest on her show, instead of flipping her hair around & making kissy faces at herself into the camera!

I just thought of this while changing the channel to anything but Hope & Faith...too bad, I like Ted McGinley!

I LOVE Kelly! OMG, I love her. She is so different than Kathie "oh Reej" Lee Gifford.

Kelly single handedly pulled that show up from the bottom, to one of the top talk shows on TV. I don't find her concieted (sp?) I think of her as down to earth, and all that hair flipping and kissy face is sarcasm.

Did I say I LOVE Kelly?

I love how she tells a story. Does anyone remember a few years ago, when she was on vacation at a beach, and she was trying to get Micheal to come out of the sand and get in the shower, and he was being difficult. Long stoy short, someone was behind her, sympathizing with her struggle with the kid, and it ends up being Scott Baio. she was star-struck. She went on and on how she couldn't belive it was THE Scott Baio. She then said, she fumbled with a greeting, talked a minute and he left. She said she look down, and one of her breasts was out of her bathing suit. She then went on about how it was the "saggy" one. It got even funnier, she then tells how she went back and told Mark, and after she finished telling Mark she was hanging out talking to Scott Baio, Mark ask, "it wasn't the saggy one was it?"

I have laughed for YEARS over that one!

On the flip-side I absolutely LOVED her as HALEY on AMC!!! LOVED HER!!!
But NO WAY , not at all on REGIS....naaa!!! Sorry, come back to AMC, HALEY!!!!

No jealousy here , just find her painstakingly annoying!

I liked her when she 1st got the job, & as a Mommy can relate to many of her stories, but she has become completely self absorbed!

I really noticed this a while back (when I could stomach the show) when the girl from Crossing Jordan filled in for her - she actually had a brain & let someone else get a word in every so often!

And I think Reeg is in love w/ himself too, though find myself feeling bad for him at times, I think he's getting Alzheimers, he cant remember any guests names, so Pipa pipes right in - not in a helping way, but in a "know it all, everyone loves me & you're old as dust" kind of way.

Glad majority feels same, now I dont feel the compulsion to email the Live show & tell her how annoying she is to the general public!

I have a love/hate relationship with her. While she is gorgeous, has that adorable pixie body, and tells an awesome story, there are days that she talks about herself way too much.

For the most part I like her. Waaaay better than Kathie Lee I do love her stories but sometimes she can be annoying. I do think she is very pretty.

Hate her character on Hope & Faith. Loved her as Haley on AMC.

Guess I am in the minority, but when I was off work I watched them almost everyday.

But I cannot stand Faith & Hope and do not watch soaps.

I like her too. I find her amusing, I wouldn't want to hang with her but I do like her.
